SPOT FUNCTION
In the event of a non-life threatening emergency, the SPOT user can use this function to notify the SPOTteam or company officers that the SPOT holder need assistance. Messages are sent for 60 minutes to registered mobile phones and email addresses.
 This feature allows the user to let the SPOTteam know that all is well, notify the team of the location, or save waypoints which maybe reviewed at a later date.
Also known as SPOTcasting, this feature tracks personnel or asset location in near-real time for 24 hours with a single press of the Track button. Way points are viewed on Google maps over secured Internet access.
Use this function in the event of a life threatening or other critical emergency. This function activates emergency services, and notifies SPOTteam of the users’ location and that they need immediate assistance.
